Mission and Outreach: For more information on any mission and outreach

- St. Johns contributes to the Food Pantry of Sauk-Prairie
on the second Sunday of the month.
- St. Johns staffs Mobile Meals for two weeks twice a year.
- Coordinator, Kathi Risley.
- The Sewing Ladies make quilts which are given to each child baptized
at St. Johns.
- Coordinator, LaVera Page.
- Other quilts are sent to Lutheran World Relief, St. Vincent
de Paul Society and people in Mississippi.
- The Sewing Ladies make about 700 quilts a year.
- Women of the ELCA Circles and the congregation as a whole provide
school kits, health kits, layettes and sewing kits to Lutheran World
Relief.
- Many from St. Johns collect labels, box tops and coupons
for area elementary schools.
- Coordinator for Box Tops for Education, Gina Varley.
- Many serve the community through suggested activities on Martin
Luther King Jr. Day in January.
- St. Johns is a Community Caring Tree sponsor. This organization
makes sure every child in our community has new presents for Christmas.

- St. Johns Sunday School children bring good used toys for
the Red Sled at First United Church of Christ in Sauk City. These
toys are spruced up, if necessary, and given to area children for
Christmas.
- Many donate childrens coats for the fall Coats for Kids program
at Concordia United Methodist Church in Prairie du Sac.
- St. Johns supports the national Dress for Success program
by donating good interview suits, dresses, coasts and accessories
to the Bottomless Closet affiliates. We help women in need of assistance
obtain appropriate clothing to get a better job.
