We are a congregation of 1200 members gathered around the mission of Christ; serving the world in word and deed. St. John's is a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and rejoice in the partnership we share. Coming Up

Soup Day
The Fellowship Committee is hosting a soup and bread lunch on February 19 following the 10:30 service. Everyone is welcome to attend, all food will be provided. Come and join the wonderful fellowship with our St. John’s family, while we are mindful of those who experience a lack of food on a daily basis.

Soup Race for Local Hunger
Speaking of soup... Our Sunday School and Confirmation classes are challenging the adults in our congregation to a soup race in February. You may bring cans of soup any time between now and then and place them under the appropriate sign in the Fellowship Hall. All cans of soup will be included in the Food Pantry offering for February. We will announce winners on February 29. Currently, the adults are ahead!

Lutheran World Relief Personal Care Kits
The women’s Lutheran World Relief congregational project for 2012 is personal care kits. We will collect wrapped bars of soap and adult-size toothbrushes in February. You may place donated items in the plastic bin in the cloakroom.
