Vacation Bible Day Camp
Staff from Sugar Creek Bible Camp will lead our kids in
a fun-filled week of songs, crafts, Bible stories, games and activities.
Campers meet at church at 9 a.m. and then head to Marion Park for
activities (weather permitting). Campers need to pack a lunch,
snacks will be provided by the church. Daily pick-up is 3 p.m. at St. John's.
Day camp is created and designed for children entering grades 1-5 NEXT school year. Cost of camp is $25 for 1 child, $15 for additional children not to exceed $50/family.
Additionally, we will offer childcare from 3:00-5:30 for kids
needing to be picked up later. Cost for this will be $10/week. Snacks
will be provided.
We will also have a preschool mini day camp experience for
kids who are entering 4K or K in the fall. Camp will be held at church
from 9:30-11:30 and will be taught by members of our congregation.
A snack will be provided. Cost for preschool camp is $10/child.
As always, to make the week of Vacation Bible Day Camp go
smoothly we will be looking for a few volunteers. Please see Jessa Kinnamon if you are interested in helping in any of the following ways:
*Housing Camp Staff – providing housing, dinner and breakfast
for 2, or all of the Sugar Creek staff who run our camp.
*
Daily Support Person – this person would help staff as
needed and transport lunches/snacks to the campers.
*Preschool Camp Assistants – help with the half day program
for our kids entering 4K or K in the fall.
*Childcare Assistant – play with kids from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m.during our new childcare option.
