This year’s Lenten Theme is “Jesus, the Great I Am.’
Following Ash Wednesday, March 6, we will begin March 13 with five weeks looking at the Gospel of John and focus on these statements of Jesus: “I Am the Bread of Life,” “I Am the Light of the World,” “I Am the Door,” “I Am the Good Shepherd,” and “I Am the Resurrection and the Life.” Lent continues with Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter (April 18, 19 and 21).
Part of our identity in Christ is serving others. Each Wednesday we will take an offering for a local ministry to show God’s love for our neighbors.
You are encouraged to contribute to our offering each week. Even the change in your pocket will make a difference!
The 5 ministries receiving our offerings are: UW-Madison Lutheran Campus Ministry Food Programs, Porchlight Solutions to Homelessness, Hope Sauk Prairie, Hope House of South Central Wisconsin, and Good Neighbor Clinic of Sauk Prairie.
